In an effort to promote Google Checkout as our preferred payment gateway we are offering 100% free shipping on any order, any size, to any country.
Why do we do this? When we process a credit card transaction through our primary merchant account there is a substantial amount of fraud screening which must take place. Internet credit card fraud is at a staggering level, especially for high-ticket items. With the extensive fraud screening we have to do (which includes IP cross referencing, 'code 10' verifications, investigating excessive/abusive chargeback history, shipping/billing address verifications and more) there is a 24-48 hour delay in shipment as well as substantial cost.
Google Checkout, on the other hand, has advanced fraud screening measures already in place including buyer/seller protection against fraudulent activity.
